A perfect size Brolos lobster for any occasion

The Brolos lobster which is  known as The Western Rock Lobster, scientifically known as Panulirus Cygnus, is a unique variety of the highly prized spiny rock lobster found only in West Australia.

The Excellence of Brolos

As the premium rock lobster brand under the Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-operative, Brolos lobsters are wild caught 365 days a year from the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean off the coast of Western Australia.

Known for its superb eating characteristics and high meat yields. It is acclaimed for its sweet and fresh, ocean taste, as well as its firm flesh.

One Of The World’s Most Natural Ecosystems

The waters off the coast of Western Australia are amongst the most pristine and unspoilt environments on the planet.  Indeed, 50% of the biomass begins life in and around the unique and untouched chain of islands called Abrolhos which the name Brolos is derived from. Brolos lobsters can spend up to four years maturing in this environment before growing to legal size, helping to deliver their unique flavor and eating characteristics.

This environment provides a nutrient rich feeding ground resulting in lobsters that are the most natural and fresh lobsters to be found. The majority of Western lobster is caught between the coastline from north of Geraldton, in Western Australia’s mid west, and south of Fremantle, near the capital, Perth.
